Join us at our January 2024 HOW dinner honoring Nazaria Lopez Your dinner includes entrée, tax and a small tip. ZERO FUNDS FROM THE DINNER ARE FOR THE RECIPIENT. RSVP to pay for your dinner at the SOS website. Reservations close February 11th at 10:00 p.m. or when maximum capacity is achieved. Paying for your dinner pays for your meal and secures you a seat at the dinner. NO WALK-INS will be allowed at the dinner. The deadline to RSVP, modify or cancel your tickets is Sunday, February 11th at 10:00 p.m. How our dinners work. Helping One Woman (HOW) is based around a monthly “girls” night out, although everyone is welcome! Each month we honor a local woman who is experiencing an irreplaceable loss in her life, either herself or an immediate family member. We gather as friends, family and community at a local restaurant, share a meal and enjoy raffles prizes and silent auction. Each attendee is asked to gift $10 at the door for our recipient and 100% of all funds raised are presented to her at the end of the evening. As nice as the money is, the support given by family and community is what really makes a difference. At the close of the evening, the next month’s recipient will be nominated and randomly selected to be honored the following month. Nazaria doesn't have Zelle or Venmo. Therefore, we will be on a cash or check basis only. We do not accept Debit or Credit cards since the funds raised go directly to our Recipient.
