Helping One Woman Dinners are centered around a monthly “Girls’ Night Out”* for a woman in our community who is going through, or has gone through, an irreplaceable loss within the past 18 months. HOW describes an irreplaceable loss as when a woman (or her spouse or child) has a life altering experience, such as a medical diagnosis or tragedy. About HOW MODESTO CHAPTER DINNER catered by DIAMOND CATERING of Modesto • Individual meal cost is $22.50, $21.50 and $21 depending on your meal choice. Menu provided by Chef Gema Martinez. • A table for 8 is $180.00 and meal options must be listed in the notes. • Everyone must buy a dinner ticket in advance here on mysosevent.com. • Reservations close one week prior to Dinner and refunds two weeks prior to dinner. No refund available for gluten free meal. • A $10 cash gift will be paid at the door on the night of the dinner by all guests. • HOW GIFT: Bring a $10 (or more) cash gift or check for the Recipient. **This will be collected at the door and is not included in payments collected on this site.** • Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the dinner. • All money collected at the dinner will be given to the Recipient on the night of the dinner. We only accept cash or checks (payable to the Recipient).**Please note that contributions are not tax-deductible, but rather a gift, as 100% of the proceeds go directly to our recipient. • Attendees are invited to nominate and sponsor a Recipient for next month’s dinner. One nomination form per paid guest. The Recipient for the next dinner is randomly drawn by the current Recipient and will be announced at the end of the evening. If your nominee is chosen, you are the Sponsor for the next dinner. *EVERYONE is welcome to attend so bring your family and friends for a great night of fun, food, and fellowship!
